bird&sheep is a record of a new adventure in our lives. We're starting a farm. It's not huge, but it's the biggest project either one of us has ever attempted. We're not sure what sort of farm, yet...except there will be chickens (we have three already), hunting (we have a dog already), flower and vegetable gardens, edible landscaping, cooking, and local outings. We're having a wonderful time, and we want something to look back on when we're old and dotty.
We expect to talk about sewing and house fixing projects, land stewardship, expansions into other animals and crops, and generally whatever we'd like to keep track of in future that we think might benefit from sharing. Some of you will know who and where we are - please don't say! We value our privacy, and would like to continue to share photos and stories as we learn and grow.
